Wow, sat here on a hot Wednesday afternoon. I have a couple of oil paintings on the go at the moment. Number 1 is a painting of a dark blue pot with Lobelia in it. It has taken quite a while to get the pot close to where it needs to be, but its looking ok now. A few more bits and bobs and it should be done. I can then move onto the plants in the pot. The background is also a problem. I did this in a light blue/grey and now I'm thinking its not really working. I am looking for solution but it hasn't come to me yet.
The other painting is of a Fir tree in the woods close to home that I started on site but ran out of time. I'll finish it at home.
