Day 8 of self-isolation. Garage tidied up. I've also taken the opportunity to dig out some old paintings and re-evaluate them. There is one of a derelict farm building in Lincolnshire that I painted in 2018. Looking at it, I am not happy with the perspective. I don't want it to be perfect, it is after all a building that has seen better days and it is tumbling down. Also the colour of the brickwork was too bright. I think I'll stick it on the easel and have a few alterations. Other news, well I'm entering a couple of oil paintings into our local art societies (North Lincs Art Society)annual exhibition. It was cancelled last year so its important to support it this.
